Racial diversity in the design industry

I have hesitated on posting on the subject as I didn’t know what to say, but I think its important to say, well something.

The tragic events which are happening in the US and the impact on the rest of the world has led me question the lack of diversity in the design industry and how we can play a part in having a positive impact.

I found this article by Kate Watson Smyth of “Mad About the House” which features thoughts from Michelle Ogundehin and other prominent interior designers, and it really gave me food for thought:

I have had my eyes opened to the richness of designers I might not have come across and my personal design will no doubt be enhanced by following their work.
