Mum, are you painting again??…

Hello lovely people! I thought it was about time I put a face to Giraffe Interiors once again in case you don’t already know me.

My name is Michelle, and live with my husband, three children and a cocker spaniel in the lovely Isle of Man. I LOVE giraffes and my love for COLOUR is real!

So how have these past few months been treating you? For a small new business like mine it’s been a struggle, not to mention the homeschooling! I know there are many whose livelihoods have really suffered, however I am hopeful that things are becoming more “normal” again (whatever that is!) so onwards and upwards we go!

I’ve used this time to study some more, learning from amazing designers such as Sophie Robinson (my colour idol ❤️💙💚🧡💛) and Abigail Ahern (chilled moody interior vibes) and even dabbled in some colour psychology which has really helped me pin down my own style and I’m sure it will help me help my clients.

Now that I have run out of places in my home to redecorate and redesign (ha ha!) I am back to designing for my lovely clients, virtually and on site, I am really excited to use all the skills I have had the time to focus on during these months. and I am sure that my family will appreciate me putting the paintbrushes down for a while!
