Monopoly is a dangerous game!

During a recent family lockdown Monopoly game, the idea of having so many tiny houses and hotels and even more paper money, led one of us who shall remain nameless, to get carried away in excitement and break one of my beloved dining chairs. Solid wood and gorgeous, it now stands in pieces…so what better opportunity to give the whole lot a lovely makeover and add some lovely, lovely colour and having recently completed a Colour Psychology course, I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

This was my poor chair looking a little sad…

A lovely joiner mended my poor chair and I reupholstered each chair seat with different coloured velvet and I am so happy with the results, its brought the colour that was missing into the set. What do you think?
