Who we are

- Enquiries. When you email or call us, we receive your name, email address or telephone number, and whatever you tell us about your enquiry.
- Mailing list. When you email us to subscribe, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your request to hear from us.
- Technical information. Like any website, pages are delivered by our hosting provider, which processes your IP address, browser and version, operating system, the time and date, and the site from which you came.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking on this website, and it does not set cookies of its own. See our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to provide our design or home staging services. We rely on your request, and on our legitimate interest in answering it.
- To send you news and offers from Giraffe Art & Interiors if you have joined our mailing list. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the website running and protect it from abuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in a secure website.
This website has no forms and does not collect or store any personal information itself. We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
We use the following providers, who process personal information on our behalf only to deliver their service:
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and protects it from abuse.
- Apple (iCloud): our email service, where your emails to us are received and stored.
- Google Fonts: supplies the typefaces on this website. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them.
Some of these providers may process information outside the Isle of Man. Where they do, they apply safeguards recognised under data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for our business records after that. We keep mailing list details until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under Isle of Man data protection law you have the right to:
- be informed about what information we hold
- get a copy of the information we hold about you
- have anything incorrect corrected
- have your information erased
- restrict or object to how we use it
- withdraw your consent to our mailing list at any time
